My experience has taken me through just about every aspect of SharePoint development. Currently, I specialize in building websites using SharePoint. When I began using SharePoint, I built an managed two internal websites, which served as information host portals, hosting dynamic data for about 30 groups within the organization. Additionally, I have worked with SharePoint accelerators such as: Beezy, Bonzai and Powell365 incorporating a more client facting aspect in addition to learning to use these tools. To better implement these tools, I have also developed and presented Education, Communication, and Governance plans so as to facilitate acceptance of the new SharePoint system post-migration.
Now, at the CDC, many groups within the organization are requesting websites where they can monitor and edit their own content, saving time and money.
Most of my experience has been as a SharePoint Administrator/Developer. In doing so, I am experienced in Front End development in Office 365, as well as building InfoPath forms with workflows. My experience also includes incorporating CSS, JQuery , JQueryUI with out-of-the-box webparts. I have also implemented JQuery with list view web parts and manipulated them to maximize functionality and ease of use.
Prior to my experience in working with SharePoint, I was working as an Instructional Designer/Webinar Developer at the CDC. I developed online courses for personnel working with infectious diseases such as ebola.
